Job Purpose:• Responsible for handling and management of distributors/channels across Oman
• Prepare and deliver annual budgets, generate sales reports, develop and maintain financial metrics to meet monthly targets
• Working closely with sales teams to train/advise and ensure minimal conflicts while dealing with diverse backgrounds and cultures
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
• Responsible for development of business and profitability.
• Broaden distribution networks by identifying and appointment of new dealers
• Identify potential corporate /institutional customers and convert them into buyers.
Sales
• Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales.
• Work with partners to develop sale proposals, quotations, and pricings.
• Enhance sales volume through merchandising, promotions, effective pricing and dealer incentives offered.
• Maintain sales records and customer contact databases
• Analyse feedback on product sales and present the same to Channel Manager
Marketing
• Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plan to increase brand awareness
• Actively contribute towards development and implementation of distribution strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Manage third party staff to implement sales events in the Mobile shop dealers
Managing Teams/ People
• Develop and train the Mobile shops salesmen
• Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business.
• Communicate up-to-date information about new products/solutions and enhancements to partners
• Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and other issues in a timely manner.
Customer Focus
• Maintain strong association with existing customers and develop new customers through relationship management
• Have in depth knowledge of all product and services offered by the company
• Handle customer queries effectively and solve all product related queries to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide customer feedback to the channel manager and highlight best practices or practices that are detrimental to customer service
Experience and Qualification:
• Bachelors degree in Marketing or equivalent in a related area
• 5 years of sales/marketing experience in FMCG/Telecom sector
• Very good sales and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of the Middle East market and Asian culture
• Ability to oversee Sales, marketing, promotional and branding activities from start to finish
