Implementation of purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.Directing and coordinating personnel engaged in material procurement, distribution, and sales activities.Monitoring supply and demand changes, market conditions, and price trends.Preparation of reports on market conditions and merchandise costs.Resolution of vendor grievances, review of purchase orders, and contract compliance with company policy.
Profile
Understanding of business and management principles for strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership.Ability to motivate, develop, and lead teams effectively, selecting the right individuals for tasks.Proficiency in negotiation skills for successful business transactions.Knowledge of raw materials within the refractory industry.Familiarity with financial reporting and the ability to assess costs and benefits for decision-making.Utilisation of logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches to problems.
Experience:
7-10 years of relevant industry experience.
