Run and manage the strategy execution with responsibilities to:
Lead annually the strategy execution roadmap planning to setup the next wave of transformation by means of scoping a program of change initiatives.
Actively engage sponsors / champions of the strategic initiatives to lead them in scoping, planning and delivering the change initiatives set in the strategy roadmap.
Facilitate workshop discussions around complex strategic issues and generate clear outcomes to move forward strategic initiatives.
While executing strategic initiatives research related topics to generate fact base information to validate hypothesis for business opportunities, weaknesses and/or threats.
Monitoring progress on execution of the strategic initiatives.
Participate in the annual Enterprise Strategy review.
Nurture and fine-tune the strategy governance to ensure the integrity of the strategy is upheld either during formulation or execution of the strategy.
Manage any changes required in executing the Enterprise or Business Strategies in accordance with the guidelines set in the governance framework.
Ensure progress reporting and control is maintained for stakeholders.
Ensure for each strategic initiative quality assurance checks are performed as per the Strategy Execution Governance.
Identify key performance indicators for the Strategic Initiatives to measure whether the change in business strategies successful result into the aspirated targets/objectives;
Continually maintain and monitor overall investment into the portfolio of strategic initiatives and maintain a cash-flow forecast model on benefit realization for those strategic initiatives.
Build and maintain relations with the shareholder, relevant government departments and other strategic stakeholders such as private sector interest groups
Motivate and inspire all staff work on the Strategy ensuring that the work environments for team members are positive and under acceptable conditions.
Manages, coaches, and mentors others and where appropriate develop the skills of all Omani Nationals or direct reporting staff.
Support the internal communication or change management team to communicate the strategy across all levels of the Bank.
Continually improve the processes, practices and tools used by the Strategy Office.
