Coordinate execution and
on-time delivery of projects through operating Business Units (O&G,
C&MI, R&B, U&S) - focusing on the profitable delivery of projects
Manage relationships with key
clients together with heads of operating Business Units
Provide expert advice to and
challenge project managers of key projects where needed (e.g. through dedicated
task force)
Drive cost control initiatives
across all key operational areas of construction projects while maintaining
contractual levels of service, quality and timing (ensure resources output
optimization)
Align centralized planning (in
Central Planning unit) with operational priorities - make sure that Central
Planning unit efficiently allocates resources to projects, taking into account
interests of all involved stakeholders (e.g., HR unit, plant unit, supply chain
management unit and project managers)
Align with plant management on
operational strategies to ensure availability of central equipment pool at
defined minimum availability level, allowing an optimized asset utilization
Manage, change and review
development and implementation of procurement strategy focused on maximizing
inventory turnover and avoiding out-of-stock situations, by taking needs of
operating Business Units into account
Manage, coordinate, and review
reports and conduct periodic reviews of operating performance
Supervise tender development
by coordinating all involved business/support units and contribute to
operational aspects of the identification of business opportunities
Solve conflicts between
operating Business Units, Central Planning, Plant, Supply Chain Management,
Tendering and other Business Units in Company
Turn business development
activities into actual projects (adding the specific operational expertise
required to acquire new clients)
Translate company strategies
developed by the CEO and the CEO Office into actual business opportunities
