Job Purpose:-
To manage and take ownership of the Operations Division by overseeing that the assignments and projects are completed safely and efficiently and ensuring the facilities are safe, reliable, and economical.
Key Responsibilities:-
• Organize and develop assigned staff with appropriate management, professional, and supervisory techniques to provide increasingly effective performance
• Develop the annual departmental strategic plan covering all aspects of the departments work, and deliver the plan
• Develop and recommend required modifications in the Departmental policies and procedures
• Provide adequate leadership to keep different maintenance projects on schedule .Responsible for developing a culture which is target and performance oriented
• Assist in the planning of the laboratory, stores and workshops requirements of the generating system.
Qualifications:-
• Master/ Bachelor Degree in (Mechanical, Electrical, Process ) Engineering
Experience:-
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Power Sector.
• At least 5 years - experience of working in operations.
• At least 3 years at a position of leadership and strategic intervention.
Knowledge and Skills:-
• Power sector understanding- Mechanical, Electrical and I & C maintenance for the Plant. Organizational Health and Safety Management
• Working of Generating station- O&M
• Asset Strategy Development
