ROLE SUMMARY
The basic function of this position is to sell Averda’s services to new and existing customers and to identify new markets and business opportunities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
· Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails.
· Arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
· Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
· Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
· Gathering market and customer information.
· Cross selling of various services within averda.
· Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
· Negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
· Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
· Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
· Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
· Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office.
· Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
· Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
· Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations.
· Feeding future buying trends back to employers.
· Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
· Makes and arranges collection schedules
· Assists in the distribution of invoices
· Ensures quality & safety within function/ tasks performed.
· Responsible for exercising due diligence towards the environment, and health & safety of self & others in the organization.
· Responsible for complying with the applicable HSE procedures, instructions, requirements, laws, regulations from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies and those applicable to her/his job requirements.
· Responsible for reporting to his/her superiors' occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect the environment, health, safety and company reputation.
· Performs other tasks as required and other responsibilities related to position
Complies with the Health & Safety instructions:
· Responsible in exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self & others in the organization
· Responsible to comply with the applicable HSE procedures, instructions, requirements, standards received from regulatory and statutory bodies
· Responsible for reporting to superior occurrences, events, violations and acts that may impact staff health and safety or the environment

Support in generation of high revenue on sales.
Create new opportunities for sales growth.
Meet sales target.
