Service Targets: Efficiency and Productivity:

• Develops service strategy for the financial year to set measures and targets. This involves preparing annual service targets (gross profit, labor revenue, no. of vehicles serviced, Customer Service Index productivity, efficiency, retention etc.) for each location, monitoring and reviewing to maintain the Customer Service Index requirement and continuously improving service quality as needed
• Works to achieve individual as well as team based targets for efficiency and high productivity
• Works towards the optimum utilization of the facility (generated business Vs. total capacity of the facility).
• Achieves the set Individual & team Revenue targets and Gross Profit targets.


Operations/HSE

• Ensures the optimum utilization of the facility (generated business Vs total capacity of the facility)
• Meets the WIP targets with regards to average WIP working days. (total WIP age/No. of WIPs)
• Builds and maintains relationships with key customers/fleet owners to explore and acquire new business opportunities and understand market trends. This includes following up on payments as needed to agree extended payment time frames
• Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures and conduct site visits to each location regularly to ensure smooth functioning of combined teams. This includes monitoring and controlling operational efficiency at all levels and outlets for activities ranging from managing stock levels, and value of parts/cost-effective original equipment and special tools, technician know-how and utilization versus service bookings and emergencies, through to front desk service quality
• Manages warranty claims' issues as per individual brand guidelines and follows-up closely to ensure a win-win situation for both customer and Principles. This includes ensuring there are no open cases for an extended period
• Monitors competition and market trends to keep abreast with the trends or gain competitive advantage. This includes working closely with the marketing department to improve sales ? Prepares monthly statistical reports and reviews them jointly with the General Manager to provide updates on service performance in terms of gross profit, sales revenue and net profit for the specific business and in comparison with the remaining aspects of the business
• Proposes and agrees budgets in conjunction with the General Manager related to after sales service (i.e. labour and parts) for outlets within his purview, manpower, equipment, training to maintain an astute balance of resource allocation and costs. This includes evaluating overrun budgets and putting cost control measures in place
• Work and maintain all operations within the ISO 9002 and HSE standards set by the company
• Housekeeping: Ensures cleanliness of the workplace, maintenance of the equipment, Overall HSE practices, Storage of uses and new parts etc


Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the related field, Auto or Mechanical Engineering is preferable


EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 8 to 10 years hands-on experience in workshop repair and operations in a reputed automotive dealership, out of which 2-3 years in a Team Leader role
• Previous work experience in Oman/Gulf Market preferred.
