Key Responsibilities of the Selected Staff
The selected candidates will carry out the day-to-day Project Management duties for an office building project handling consultants and contractors in line with Omran obligations under the Project Agreement with the end user.
• Responsible for the management of project(s) through the direction of control documents and instruction from the Senior management team.
• Assist in the preparation of the Development Brief and updating at the appropriate stages as the information develops, including the facilities program from first principles, F&B strategy, Spa brief, meeting and conferencing.
• Assist the owner with data for the preparation of the owners Business Case & Commercial Appraisal and its subsequent updates.
• Assist in the process for consultant appointments, including initial letter (where applicable), full consultant agreement and subsequent warranties, bonds, insurances.
• Assist the owner in the identification and procurement of the ID
• Define MUR strategy.
• Develop the owner's strategic development programme leading to Construction programme, picking up the timely integration of the hotel operator, ID appointment, MUR construction and sign off, FF&E procurement planning, operator management, and the pre-opening planning stages, in line with development freeze points and agreed Gateways.
• Establish early procurement packages, and seek innovative solutions for system building to reduce program time.
• Develop and implement the procurement strategy for project(s)
• Assist the owner with risk management, assessment and mitigation at all stages.
• Assist the owner with any authority approvals and consultation leading to construction, and then approvals and certification in readiness for opening.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture (preferably masters).
• A globally recognized Project Management qualification is an advantage.
• Expertise & experience in high end office buildings (Class A) and construction.
• 10 years of project development experience with large mixed-use developers, office complexes
• Energetic Self Starter with a positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with consultants and contractors.
