Oversee the construction supervision of residential and non-residential projects.
Implement Parsons HSE policies
Lead the construction supervision team of engineers, inspectors, document controllers and allocate the resources according to project demands.
Attend project progress meetings, coordination meetings and chair where required.
Liaise with local authorities where required. This will be mostly for infrastructure design approvals.
Coordinate review of all contractor submittals: shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, technical queries, test reports etc.
Verify and sign off all reviews and inspections carried out by engineers and inspectors.
Monitor the approval timespan and ensure that open submittals get responded to.
Liaise with designers to resolve design issues and respond to contractor technical queries.
Ensure the coordination of design of infrastructure (produced by Parsons) and buildings (by other designers).
Monitor contractor compliance to project specifications and drawings and issue non-compliance notices when there has been a breach.
Assist Client to resolve defect liability issues and historical issues when requested by the client. Provide reports when requested.
Ensure that information (design, reports) is not issued to the client that exposes Parsons to financial liability. Check with Project Manager, some requests have to be formal submissions from Parsons design office.
