Role: Senior System Engineer
Location: Oman
We are looking for individual with strong technical skills to help deliver a portfolio of innovative Managed IT Infrastructure Services with minimum 6 years of IT Infrastructure Experiences. Should have strong Windows administration knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Should have strong analytical skills and be capable of de-composing complex customer problems and obtaining the solution in the infrastructure platform.
Candidate should be able to independently lead the shift in troubleshooting the issues related to different customer’s infrastructure.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups of customers and Technical Stakeholders is required.
- Good understanding Windows Operating Systems & virtualization technologies
- Basic understanding about cloud is must and experience on cloud is a plus point
- 6+ years of mandatory experience in Windows environment such as Active directory, DNS, IIS, SBS, Domain Controllers, Exchange Server, DHCP, LDAP etc.
- Patch management, problem analytical skills, logs analysis,
- Experience in working in an ITIL Process environment to maintain the SLAs with the customer
- Expertise on Linux platform is a Plus point
- Ability to manage critical outages simultaneously
- Innovative, self-motivated, and able to interact with all levels of the organization
- Experience with operation of medium to large-scale enterprise and cloud infrastructures, databases, and application systems with high-availability requirements
- Ability to learn and apply new technical skills and concepts quickly
- Ability to work with different OEMs to troubleshoot infrastructure issues
- Vendor management skills, handle meeting with customers
- Good understanding of basic networking, subnetting, routing etc.
