Key Outputs:
Vendor Management: Has to develop new products, negotiate commercial terms and source the market relevant products.
Key Account Management: Maintain a good healthy relationship with all hypermarket / power retailer buyers as well as store managers / staff members for facilitating and concentrating on our product sales. Also regularly meet all key decision makers to plan and increase the sales.
Annual Contract Negotiations: Negotiate the annual contract with all hypermarkets to yield better terms and profitability for our company.
Promotion Planning: Plan well in advance for all upcoming promotions as per the marketing calendar provided by key accounts. Creatively design sales promotions for our products to enhance our sales as well as profitability.
Adequacy of Displays: Ensuring that all products are properly displayed to enable customers have a look and feel
Adequacy of stocks: Ensure that ideal stocks are maintained with all outlets. Thus enough inventory is present at all the times to meet customer requirement. All the same the hypers should not carry excess inventory which may lead to inventory ageing / sales returns / compensation.
Merchandiser Management: Ensure there is daily follow-up with every merchandiser to check on their sales performance. Also guide to enhance their sales performance for achieving the set targets.
Documentation: Generation, distribution and archiving of transaction related documents as per company policy
Collections : Ensure accuracy of all transactions for all accounts and follow-up with their Finance Team for timely collection of all outstanding and account reconciliation.
Market survey: Competition Activities / Market Prices / Customer satisfaction / Avenues for expansion and growth
Organizational Requirements: Budget inputs for sales forecasting, Achieving set targets, adhering to corporate policies, HSE policies, code of ethics, quality policies.
