ROLE SUMMARY
The basic function of this position is to develop the departments’ strategic plan and strategies and manage the overall sales and marketing activities for GCC Region.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develops in conjunction with the Managing Director the Strategic Sales Plan for the business.
Develop and implements effective strategic sales and marketing plan to achieve agreed growth objectives
Advise the Managing Director on changing trends within the market so the organisation can make and adjust plans accordingly.
Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales and marketing department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
Establishes performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
Direct the department’s activities to achieve the objectives established in the Company’s Strategic Plan.
Coordinates sales and Marketing operations with all other departments of the Company.
Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all existing and potential customers of the Company.
Develop and maintain a strong work relationship with key stake-holders, opinion leaders and contacts with other relevant agents.
Work on achieving the targets on succession planning, training & education of staff.
Monitors and analyses sales trends.
Responsible for the preparation, management and control of the sales budget
Responsible for developing revenue and use learning’s from that experience to refine sales processes and to improve upon sales and marketing processes.
Develop new products and services for our existing and new clients.
Establishes work standards, determines his/her staff’s training needs and appraises their performance on monthly basis.
Identify, develop and maintain a strong pipeline of new and existing customers.
Produce regular reports to the Managing Director regarding the activities of the job holder and the department.
Develop policies, procedures and instructions necessary to ensure effective planning, operation and control of the department’s activities
Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
Complies with the Health & Safety instructions:
Develops policies, procedures and instructions necessary to ensure effective planning, operation and control of the department’s activities
Develops documentation necessary to ensure effective control of health, safety and environmental aspects of all activities and promote HSE awareness within the department
Ensures quality & safe ty within functions/ tasks performed by himself/herself and staff reporting to him/her
Responsible for exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self and others within the organization
Ensures compliance with the applicable HSE instructions, requirements, laws and regulations received from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies
Review effectiveness of the QHSE system on a regular basis
Responsible for notifying to MR QHSE occurrences, events, violations and acts that may adversely impact QHSE practices
